Bulwark is a cider maker that uses freshly pressed apple juice from the rich and fertile Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. The craft cider market has become significantly more competitive in Canada, with an influx of imports. Our brief was to premiumise the brand and emphasise its artisan and authentic credentials - we rebranded the range of craft ciders for both the Canadian and the new UK and European markets.
The design positions Bulwark as a premium and authentic range of ciders with an artisan provenance and natural ingredients - the hand cut lettering forms a key element in both the Bulwark apple tree of knowledge and the logo and supporting typography.
The new brand is currently being activated globally and has already won orders in the UK, which has one of the biggest markets for cider.
