I wanted to create a series of snowboards that would spark buzz within the Colorado backcountry snowboarding community, boards that people could connect with. I like topographic maps, especially in Colorado. The crazy landscapes make for interesting contour lines.
Approach
The boards feature the topography from Berthoud Pass, Loveland Pass, and Silverton. These zones are famous for fantastic backcountry touring.
