Design a packaging series of 4 different container shapes of your choosing, scaling from big to small, standard to odd. Create a visual branding system through graphic tools such as; color palette, typography, patterns, textures, photography, style, coupled with a versatile logo.

Inspired by raw materials, Arête (meaning a sharp mountain ridge) features deconstructed packaging combined with an entirely modular graphic system, allowing complete flexibility. The packaging system celebrates the pure functional forms found in climbing equipment, housing the products in packaging that feels equally as strong. The brand features abstracted black and white rock photographs as a textural element, paired with yellow for a striking color combination. The lined grid system alludes to stitching. The logo is a tall, condensed wordmark to give the feeling of something you could actually climb. The packaging itself is made from cardboard (handmade) and various repurposable ropes and cords for sustainability.

The packaging and branding achieves a look that is completely different from the established vernacular of current climbing and outdoor brands. The system allows for the brand to easily transfer to different applications when necessary because of the modularity of the graphic system.
