This project was to design a poster for the event that I chose.
Approach
I researched one of the plays from Annual Human Festival of New American Plays. I created a gouache painting that matches the title of the play, then I digitally added the typography. For the title, I used the typography that I designed.
Results
This project is successful because the limited color, texture, and scale difference in the piece demonstrates the subject well. Also, the typography matches the style of the artwork, so it looks coherent.
