As work on the experiential graphics for the Multicultural Center project heads into the home stretch, designers from the XGD Studio at DLR Group thought it would be interesting to utilize some of the creative that ended up on the cutting room floor and repurpose the graphics into a print that highlights the history of black students, diverse culture and significant figures who make up the history at the University of Miami.
Approach
Featured on the print are a Côte d'Ivoire African mask, a Bahamian woman celebrating Junkanoo, Harold Long Founder of the United Black Students organization, The Harold Long Jr. and H.T. Smith Student Services Building and Dr. Martin Luther King. The print is colorized with on-brand University of Miami colors.
Results
The client has recently received the poster and is thrilled with the result. DLR Group gifted the original digital files to the University so it can be reprinted as requested.
