The goal was to use an in-house poster campaign to promote an event in the field of communication studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts, which in the past had seen declining registrations for participation.
For the poster campaign, humorous neologisms and catchphrases from the authors discussed in the seminar were brought into focus to make communication design students aware that this event has interesting and contemporary content to offer, even though no design practice is generated there itself. The screen print with blue spot color complemented the attention-grabbing effect.
The posters had already been stolen from the walls by students as well as lecturers a few days before the start of the event. According to the statement of the chair, this time an exceptionally large number of participants had registered.
