In front of Clayes Performing Arts Center, there are several kiosk's that promote upcoming events for the Meng Concert Hall at Cal State Fullerton. The ideal poster should be eye catching and interesting to draw attention to the event.
Approach
I decided to do a poster that embodies the look and feel of a poster that you might see for an event in New Orleans, where Jazz is popular. I wanted to use a simple silhouette where viewers get the idea of what a jazz musician might look like on the stage from the audience.
Results
The poster was chosen to be featured in a kiosk in front of the Clayes Performing Arts Center.
