The assignment was to create a unique pictorial, letterform trademark for a company by combining an object with letterform through a forced visual connection making a cohesive, original, and stand-out brand.

I started with the company, currently propeller depot .com has a less than creative clip art logo. I knew I wanted to redesign the mark, so I started listing adjectives while dissecting the "p" and "d" shapes. After some thumbnails, this abstract mark started taking shape, pairing the type was next, using the center circle as my primary focus. I decided with using Futura with some personal modifications, going back to that geometric thinking with the center circle.

The mark successfully combines the companies initials with the product it features. The mark is creative, unique, and clean. I would be excited to take this mark father than logo and do an entire re-brand.
