Proposal of card design and its display for a florist.
There are many cards out in the market using flower images, but those cards do not often have color variations, or have images of seasonal flowers we find at florists. For this reason, we firstly selected the most popular flowers of each season at the florist, and then, considered if they work out as color gradation when the cards are all displayed together, to ensure that those cards can be used in various kinds of situations.
Displaying cards in front of the store was a successful attempt not just to increase sales of card purchases, but also flower purchases. Customers looked for the flowers used as images in the cards and they often asked the florist the flower names. The business impact of this attempt was huge. It promoted stronger communication with customers as customers became more interested in flowers, and the number of repeaters increased.
