Create an identity for a newly established realty company that works in a primarily upscale neighborhood. Because our client and her business is fairly young, the objective was to create an identity that would convey credibility and a feeling of long term stability and seriousness. Her appreciation for design and beauty in the spaces and landscape she works in was as much a source of inspiration as her love for the area she works in.
After researching the competition, we noticed that most of their identities had very little personality and were not much more than conservative and uninteresting typeset treatments of their names. We wanted to create an identity that conveyed our client’s personality, timeless stylishness and sophistication without being stuffy and conservative.
We determined that a monogram approach would evoke the right combination of timelessness and sophistication without losing all sense of fashion. The client was able to establish a confident foot forward that would simultaneously reassure her conservative clientele as well as maintain her sense of personality and design aesthetic. The end result was an aspirational, self-assured mark that willl remain timeless as the business grows and succeeds.
