Name and design a logo for a new restaurant from well-known Italian restaurateurs. We needed to telegraph that this would not be their expected Italian fare.

The word “volta” means a dramatic change in thought or emotion and our mark with its contemporary feel and modern angular type signals just that. The missing elements of the custom logotype lend dynamism and spark.

Results
In one of the world’s great and most crowded restaurant cities, Volta had a strong and successful opening that the owners attributed, at least in small part, to the bold brand ID.
