Lyft is on a mission to improve people's lives with transportation. In 2022, in typical Lyft's fashion, the brand wanted to remind people (after the tough pandemic years that everybody experienced) that "good energy and transportation can truly move the world". The assignment: develop a design language and a typographic system that celebrate this goal, while showing off our beautiful new color palette and photo library.
The internal brand team created a completely new photography style for the brand and designed a fun, irreverent and always vibrant design language to remind people that Lyft can truly take you anywhere, but always with that "Lyft" personality that no other competitor possesses.
These designs were used in a variety of places inside and outside Lyft HQ to highlight our brand's refresh and focused our mission statement. The posters and designs had an incredible impact, especially coming out of two years of pandemic - the overall style really met the desire of people to finally go back to live their lives again.
