With the all-new QX50, Infiniti was launching an all-new semi-autonomous driving technology. How could we help the shopper understand the capabilities and benefits of this emerging technology, and relate it to their real-world commute?
Designory put the vehicle in a real-world driving scenario, then paralleled it with a dramatic visual simile by comparing driving the technology to flying. Yet rather than use the obvious “auto-pilot” comparison, we turned the simile on its ear bycomparing the hands-on experience of flying a glider to the hands-off experience of driving the QX50 with ProPilot Assist. In executing the film, Designory worked with a director who could capture the epic scenery, dynamic action and intimate moments that elevate the presentation to a vivid personal experience.
