Woodlea sets a new benchmark for suburban living. Located 29km from Melbourne’s CBD, and set to provide a projected 7,000 new homes, the vision and planning behind this huge development was momentous. The early success of the project has been phenomenal, with Woodlea achieving recognition as Australia’s fastest selling community in 2016. In January 2020 Woodlea launched a new look and feel. As part of this evolution we created a poster which would showcase the refreshed brand.
The new vision and brand are a true reflection and celebration of the Woodlea community. The campaign utilises the phrase ‘True West’ which celebrate Woodlea’s mission to redefine and reinvigorate Melbourne’s West. We wanted the posters to bring this key phrase to life and also reference the five sprawling parks that are now open, as well as the new schools and community facilities that are on the horizon.
The poster showcases Woodlea’s evolution through the urban, vibrant aesthetic of the new brand as well as integrating an emphasis on genuine nature of the local community. It has successfully resonated with Woodlea’s present and future residents in a meaningful and relevant way.
