Colon cancer is third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths for men and women, and even though it’s preventable with screenings, people aren’t getting colonoscopies as they should.
For Colon Cancer Awareness Month (March), GI Associates used the core idea that colon cancer is preventable, treatable and beatable with a bold advertising campaign focusing on avoiding regrets and eliminating excuses for getting life-saving colonoscopies.
The campaign reached people in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois – the core markets of GI Associates – and earned positive feedback from the organization's independent physicians.
