'Measure three times, and cut once' is a core principle of fine carpentry. Our new identity for Clean Cut Carpentry reflects that commitment to precision and deliberate execution in the split C of the mark.
studio'farrell was approached by Clean Cut Carpentry to create a new logo and identity around a name they had waited to secure for some time. They wanted an identity that reflected their passion for their craft and be a visual rallying point to build a customer base around the new company name and logo. In a category of many generic contractors they wanted to be differentiated as fine craftspeople focused on attention to detail.
The new identity also attempts to find irresistible touchpoints (van, hoodie, hat) that are visually witty and focus on the core idea of a 'Clean Cut' to create branding connections that are iconic, clear, confident, and occasionally raise a wry smile.
