To develop a recognizable and unique brand for Fish House. The restaurant is located in the Four Seasons O’Ahu Resort, and is known for their gigantic Seafood towers, buckets of iced seafood, Poke bar and Hawaiian-style fish, lobster and clam bakes all served in large pans for the entire table to share with local condiments. The brand had to thrive on cues of the local Hawaiian tribes and their traditional seafood offerings.
Known for their gigantic seafood towers, buckets of iced seafood, poke bar, lobster and clam bakes Fish House is an invitation to become immersed with traditional Hawaiian food and culture. The approach was to leverage the traditional aesthetics of local tribes and its specific seafood offerings while taking you through the journey of the fisherman. To create this authentic experience, designed elements all tied back to the cultural and visual aspects of the island. From the specific type of seafood offerings, to the wooden planks used for food plating and finally to the decor reminiscent of what one would experience at a local bar or “fish house”
With more than 1.4 million impressions on social, Fish House was a total catch among foodie tourists and locals alike. The restaurant continues to earn praise in national and international food publications, and is a main draw to the Four Seasons Ko Olina resort itself.
