The Hoodieman project is based on the notion that everyone is being watched all of the time. In todays high-tech society, no matter where you are or what you are doing, someone, someplace has the ability to watch you. Whether you are at a shopping mall, walking by an ATM, or just sitting in your car at a traffic light, you could be on camera. My goal for this up and coming series is to allow the viewer to place themselves into this world of the watched.
My objective for this image was to create a scene that not only shows a young woman being watched by the man in the background, but also the feeling that the viewer is taking part. The hope is that as distressed as the viewer feels about the scene, they are also feeling uncomfortable as one of the watchers.
