Fernando Guerra has been a pioneer in the way architecture is photographed and divulged in the past 22 years. Guerra’s work is regularly seen in international publications such as Casabella, Wallpaper, Dwell, Icon, Domus, A+U and many more. FG +SG has collaborated with many Portuguese architects including Álvaro Siza, Carlos Castanheira or Eduardo Souto de Moura as well as international architects such as Márcio Kogan, Isay Weinfeld, Arthur Casas, Zaha Hadid, Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, among others.
In 2012 he was nominated for Canon Explorer, having been appointed ambassador for Canon Europe in Architectural Photography. In 2015 the MoMA acquired six of Fernando’s projects for their permanent collection, and in the same year Fernando won Arcaid Images Architectural Photographer of the Year and Plataforma Arquitectura’s Photography Prize Project of the year. In 2016 he was an award winner in Architizer’s Architecture + Photography category. Vestígio designed the identity for the Portuguese Architecture by Fernando Guerra exhibition, part of the ACPT strategy to promote Portuguese lifestyle and creativity around the world.
