To design a new brand for a pediatric dentist in Southern California that would stand out in a crowded marketplace while still representing the dentist.
Our branding process always starts with a branding interview that includes proprietary questions that we've honed over the years to be able to best extrapolate a client's vision for their business. We then do competitor, market, and local research. The dentist kept mentioning that she wanted it to be very feminine but very SoCal.
So the thought, "What do you get when you mix sun, surf, and sand? Mermaids, of course." Well, not really but we did create sophisticated beach feel using vintage-eque photography and upclose photos of water, coral, etc. paired with a beautiful blush color. You'll notice that “S” in the logo is a mermaid's tail.
