This poster series aims to highlight the beauty of Indian scripts, the diversity in languages, and the beauty of calligraphy through this event. All the calligraphy done to showcase the different Indian scripts are hand-drawn with the traditional tools, and then each composition has been photographed and edited according to the different layouts. Here I decided to focus on the traditional calligraphic tools to showcase the art of calligraphy and to bring to attention the beauty of the various strokes that one can create using these traditional tools. I particularly chose tools that are elongated or thick in nature but with a rounder surfaces for the photography shoot. Eventually, I used my skills in calligraphy to demonstrate the impact these tools could create while making the poster. When added to the foreground, these calligraphic strokes added a dynamic structure to the photoshoot. I also emphasized the use of different textures of papers; from handmade to texture to plain papers to show the opacity of the ink's while creating different strokes using various tools.
As it's an Event branding, later, with the guidance of professor's I decided to extend this project and create the social media promotions for this event. This event is sponsored by MODA. So I decided to design Instagram feeds for MODA and, at the same time, some promotional gift items for the audiences, Like calligraphical tools, Tools pouch, and a manual that briefly describes how these tools are used and gives detailed information about the Indian traditional calligraphy.
