The Bauhaus is that art movement that stands into its own characteristic by its unique approach. The Bauhaus (1919 – 1933) is termed a construction house or a base of pillars of art which was originated as a german school of the arts in the early 20th century and the founder of this school was Walter Gropius in 1919. The school was been termed as the house of construction because it is the base of design history which is concerned with quality design and training in an industrial society. whether its an architectural design, graphic design, painting, furniture design, display, or set design, photography Bauhaus has its own uniqueness in each of these fields. Thus, the Bauhaus style, also known as the International Style, was marked by the absence of ornamentation and by harmony between the function of an object or a building and its design. The goal of this project was to design a stamp set that embraces works of the designers from The Bauhaus period for the USPS Post office. In this project, I have focused on the work of Herbert Bayer (1900 – 1985), Joost Schmidt (1893 – 1948), Laszlo Moholy - Nagy ( 1895 – 1946).
