GHD was assigned with developing a cohesive identity, including a marketing book, for 200 East 59 Street, a 35-story luxury residential condominium development by Macklowe Properties. All residences feature deep continuous wraparound terraces and column-free interiors designed to celebrate inside/out living.

GHD approached the book design as an architectural expression of the building’s innovative features, with intensive research efforts that delved into the history of classic modern design and architecture. The radius neighborhood map places the building at the “Center of Everything,” highlighting nearby shopping, restaurants, culture, hospitals, offices and other residential developments.

The finished book cover has a full coverage blind embossed basketweave pattern on a silver paper, mirroring 200 East 59 Street’s aluminum retail podium, a sophisticated addition to Manhattan’s streetscape.
