Design a poster for a lecture on the topic of using creativity to impact society in positive ways that aren’t financially motivated. Promoting the pursuit of design for the greater good, this talk shed light on several philanthropic ventures the agency has embarked on over the past couple of years.
A simple forced connection was utilized to merge the ethos of designing for good with the physical tools of the trade, in a lighthearted and approachable style. The poster was produced as a series in 4 color-ways (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) giving a nod to the 4-color printing process.
Due to it's proximity to the holidays, the January lecture has historically been one of the more poorly attended events of the season. This lecture drew record attendance from members and non-members alike. A lively debate on the topic of philanthropy in design followed, in which attendees discussed social issues and how they themselves could get involved in designing for good.
