Launched in 2022 at COP26, the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) is accelerating an inclusive energy transition as an on-ramp for human opportunity. It brings together philanthropic, government, and private sector partners to build the singular global platform to accelerate an equitable energy transition in 60+ developing countries and emerging economies, to end global energy poverty, and enable sustainable energy for all. The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet approached Ahoy to develop the visual brand and its guidelines, social media templates, iconography, infographics, and their 2022 Impact Report, Powering People and Planet.

A year since its inauguration, the Global Energy Alliance launched its first impressive Impact Report at COP27, highlighting projections as much as projects already on the ground in many developing countries worldwide.

Ahoy created the online report, the PDF report, its maps and data visualizations, illustrations, photo editing, and animations. The green energy transition is a complex and current topic. The challenge was to tell the human story and showcase the Alliance’s latest findings. Maps and infographics showcase the need for an energy transition.
