E3 is all about fun and technology. To capture the essence of E3, I used computer hardware and playing card illustrations as inspiration for the poster design. From a distance the poster looks like a playing card. Upon closer inspection, the viewer sees that the design intricacies illustrate a computer motherboard. “Easter eggs” are a part of video game culture. To make the poster fun and interactive I have hidden over a dozen “Easter eggs” within the design for viewers to discover.
