Design and Illustrate the flagship in a series of special drum and bass records by the Brooklyn-based electro-reggae label known as Liondub International.
Street level and intensely detailed.
Approach
Use design cues and texture from currency. Hand illustrated the photos of Brooklyn and the Artists portraits on the record. As much detail as possible as large as possible so it will look great on the matte album jacket.
Results
In a recent interview on the radio in England, Liondub was pressed hard by an enthusiastic host to know who was designing all these album covers. Liondub wouldn't tell.
He kept it a secret. And we take that as a compliment.
