The assignment was to create two editorial spreads about an interesting or influential person.
Approach
Stephanie chose to focus on an amazing tattoo and ironwork artist named Misha Ruka. She chose to incorporate the style of the artist in the spreads by creating a strong geometric design. Misha's work is geometric in nature.
Misha creates only black tattoos, so the use of color was limited to reflect that. Pops of red help enliven the spreads.
