This assignment was a small part of a 12-page magazine project, this portion being my main 2-page feature spread. The focus was on creating both graphical and typographical interest.

To get to this point, I went through many stages of hand drawn thumbnails and digital roughs. Many different typographical treatments were explored, and I primarily focused on using less of Adobe Illustrator (which I am more comfortable with), and almost exclusively with Indesign. 

I believe I reached a more creative typographical treatment than what I had been comfortable with in the past, and my project was well received by my classmates, instructor, friends, and family. This along with my inner spread to go with this tied together a cohesive theme on the article topic and created more interest.
