The brief from the client, Maroondah City Council, was to create a booklet to promote their 5 year strategy for arts and culture in the community.
As it was felt that there was much 'hidden' talent in the area, it was decided to showcase these artists by using visually dominant images on each spread – with the text and other information as secondary elements. The cover celebrates local indigenous artists.
The client was very happy with the result and felt that it well represented what arts and culture in the area had to offer.
