Design a visual representation and brand for the new Cycling Club at Grimshaw. The design must be interesting, engaging stay true to Grimshaw's current brand strategy, and be accessible enough for veteran bikers as well as newcomers.
Approach
Referring to Grimshaw's tradition of exposing the framework of his architecture and the studio's latest logo, set in Replica Bold, the Cycling Club logo had to be a short-hand for both brand and legacy of the studio, in a simple and interesting way.
Results
Taking all of those things in consideration, the bike-chain forming the Grimshaw Replica "G", was the most natural logo for this fun and exciting new club.
