Located in sunny San Diego, California, You and Yours Distilling Co. is California’s first destination distillery. Hint was tasked with creating the brand identity for Y&Y, centered on elevating experiences and bringing people together.

Because the brand is very personal to its founders, Hint took a collaborative approach to the project, working closely with the client. We started with brand strategy and naming, moved on to visual direction, then to final design and execution.

The You & Yours logo is custom-drawn and distinctive, echoing the personal care they put into their 100% craft distilled spirits.

Y&Y launched with two offerings: Sunday Gin and Y&Y Vodka. Rather than creating a rigid family, each spirit was designed to be individual, drawing inspiration from their natural ingredients. The result was a visual system which allows for each spirit to be distinctive but rooted in the parent brand.
