The poster was designed to promote the Korean design pavilion by Dongdaemun Design Plaza(ddp) and Seoul Design Foundation at the MAISON&OBJET in Paris. The the Korean design pavilion is designed to promote Korean designers and products internationally. For this reason, the posters have the names of participating designers typographically.
Approach
For this promotional poster, DAEKI & JUN has newly established the visual system of Dongdaemun Design Plaza(ddp). The new grid system used for the poster was designed with the motif inspired by the surface of ddp. Also, the word ddp# was designed in typography by applying a grid system at the bottom of the poster.
Results
The poster fits the ideas that the client wished to convey, to which the client was satisfied.
