The Gallo Team set out to create a Farmer’s Market / Fruit Stand inspired line of fruit flavored wines in partnership with Aldi.
The internal design team at Gallo worked with the internal Private Brands team at Gallo to define a unique territory for wine – fresh fruit flavored varietals that are seasonal and have overt appetite appeal. To do that, they defined what a wine could look like in that space and designed to create a new look for the category.
As a result, Pacific Fruit Vineyards has gained so much attention from the Aldi shoppers, that the products routinely sell through inventory within weeks of being distributed. For the second season of the product launch a new flavor was voted on through social media and production run numbers were increased.
