The United States 2016 election presented an opportunity for design to engage and benefit the community. AIGA, the professional association for design, invited its members to Get Out the Vote by designing non-partisan posters that would instigate voting on election day.
Election day is each individual’s opportunity to VOICE an opinion, and make a CHOICE that will affect the future of the country. To VOTE is to empower many voices toward a unified direction.
The expected palette of red, white and blue was avoided. Instead, lively colors merge to signify the mixing of the many cultures that make up our nation.
The collection is exhibited on the national AIGA website, and each poster is available for free download.
