Colomech is a metalworking company. Their strength lies in their ability to quickly and precisely design and process metal parts. Colo is another reading of the president’s name Oguchi. Many of their competitors’ logos have traditional and stiff images, so I was asked to make a logo with a minimal and fresh appearance.

The goal was to express their careful and precise metalwork. The circle is cut to represent “c” and “l.” so that the whole logo mark says “colo.” It also expresses their beautiful metal cut. The circles are not perfect intentionally, but by slightly expanding the corners, it becomes a more beautiful circle. I chose a bold font to express a solid sense of trust.

The employees and clients enjoy the new logo. The minimal and clean image gave their clients a sincere and polite impression. In addition, the logo mark that expresses the company name is simple and easy to remember and is beautiful wherever placed.
