Ruda Fest is a non-profit mural organization and is the first of it's kind based in Bogota Colombia. In an effort to add colour and positive artworks, I was invited to paint a mural with an uplifting message. Colombia has a troubled history and companies Like Ruda are are doing an amazing job to change that and promote a positive outlook for locals. In situations like this you are given full creative freedom to create work that you are passionate about with creative restraint and can be used to promote the place you're painting in and also yourself.

I chose to create a mural that included both Spanish and English and designed the words to intertwine like a puzzle, which gave both languages equal prominence and kept the viewer looking a little longer while they worked it out.

It was an aiming experience and the artwork had a great response, which was later turned into a silkscreen print and given to people going by to see the artwork.
