The objective of this project was within a single media/medium, create and design multiple editions (or a series) of items espousing a notion, conception, abstraction, theory, hypothesis, or conviction you are knowledgeable and passionate about. Your project must have at least four editions that communicate your intentions, and work together conceptually and visually as a series.

I believe 90s music has a deeper understanding and meaning when it comes to self expression when explaining their emotions back then. I feel like artists had a chance to let the music flow through them and inspire them for change and creating a significant impact through their audience by describing their pain, happiness or even anger. I wanted to capture those expressions through vibrant colors for each artist. I chose my colors very carefully to represent the meaning within their music and how it comes off to the audience that listens.
Aaliyah is pink and blue for love, positivity and speaks out for femininity.
Mary J is purple and orange because she shows passion, peace and change through her music. Ice Cube is red and yellow because he express anger or caution.
Tupac is green and orange because he talks about how he wants to change his community and how we can grow as a community.
I also wanted to try a collage approach for each artist since that is something I haven't tried before digitally!

This project was successful on how I imagined it to be. When looking at these series of posters, the colors really came off well to each one of their personality and shows who they represent as people. I believe I shown throughout this series that 90s music has more deeper meaning and self expression through this series and that I hope I brought that out through the audience.
