There are more than 300 groups, organizations, and associations in Washington State that share a common thread – they deeply believe in creating a world of gender equality. WAGE’s goal is to bring together these diverse cross-sector groups so they can learn from each other, create innovative new projects, identify areas where their efforts may be overlapping, and ensure that services are available to any group or individual who needs them. In addition to saving time and money, and creating a system of mutual support, the alliance would make it easier to set large-scale goals for Washington communities.

The client needed an approachable mark, and our solution uses a muted rainbow strata to reflect its inclusive goals. The fresh approach to the colors adopted by the LGBT community signals the client's mission. Applying the color strata to the "G" highlights the focus of the campaign – gender.

There's been a positive response to the organization, which is still in its fledgling stages of development. The client feels that the mark is on target – welcoming and forward thinking, and perfect to visually unify the various groups that are represented.
