These people were hand-delivered a black invite that stood ominously on their desk, obelisk-like. Little clue was given as to its purpose – except a Stanley blade and the word ‘Cut’. Using the blade to open the invite, more information was found within - coded - with a view to leaving the recipient still unnerved.
This was then followed up by posters featuring the full Stanley knife and exhibit note. Rather than explicit explanation, each piece sought to intrigue and unsettle – like the work of Kubrick himself.
