The primary audience is LGBTQ+ and allies—with a hopeful wider film enthusiast reach. The creative was influenced by a desire for love and acceptance of everyone as they are. We worked with an illustrator to create a fluid image of growth and beauty. Type was hand-drawn, reinforcing the uniqueness of the event. A diverse festival committee provided important feedback throughout the design process to help examine and assess how imagery could be interpreted, allowing us to ultimately land on a design that was fully embraced.
