There's a new micro-brewery opened every minute. An oversaturated market tends to swallow new businesses whole if they are unable to stand apart from the crowd. Exit Strategy Brewing Company challenged us to create posters that would allow them to stand out from the crowd.
We created a brand that highlighted the founders’ vision for escaping the drudgeries of working 9 to 5. With beers named after friends, family members and memories, the branding reflected their punk rock meets troubadour personality. We designed a series of posters for each beer, with each being a visual menu, hinting the story and flavor behind the beers with one goal in mind- to present flavor expectations to the consumer.
The massive posters became the only artwork adorning the walls of the brewpub and a key feature on the brewery website and social sites.
