- The Feed / Anti-Digital Publication
Assignment
In an age where everything from information to entertainment is available at our fingertips, we're actively losing touch with life's tangible experiences. The objective of The Feed is to redirect Millennials' overwhelmingly digital interests back to real, tangible experiences. Though the digital age provides us with endless convenience and potential, we as humans are growing further and further away from hands-on experiences. The Feed is a publication created to remind us of the importance of tangible creation and conversation amidst the ever-growing digital world.
Approach
The Feed takes on an experimental creative approach to appeal to the 18 to 30-year-old market. I decided on a bold, minimal color palette that will really stand out on a newspaper stand or in a café. The experimental typography takes a spin on a traditional newspaper formatting, maintaining a sense of rigidity while also breaking boundaries. The Feed feels fresh in its content, loud in its color, and intriguing in its format.
