For this assignment I was required to photograph a person within the studio, but the photograph had to concentrate on the use of color.

While sticking to my specialization of sports photography, I wanted to do a traditional portrait of an athlete to give my portfolio more depth. I had a particular model that has a beautiful warm skin tone, which I enhanced with a warm toned background. I wanted a bit of color contrast to highlight that aspect of the assignment, so I made sure she wore a blue top so it and the logo popped out to the viewer.

The final result was a portrait with a athletic overtone, that could also be looked at as a studio product for the Nike top that she is wearing. A mix of sports and fashion to add to my portfolio.
