Design a chair based on a personal narrative.

Influential voices telling me how to live is nothing I can escape. Those voices are so loud at times, I can't even hear my own voice, and therefore it's hard to decide what I really want to do in life. This chair represents how to best handle these influences.

The leather straps are the voices that have shaped my character and built my foundation, influences that are hard and uncomfortable to deal with at times. But, as I start to find my own direction and rhythm in life, and as I become comfortable being vulnerable and rocking my own way (like this chair, side to side, not back to front) those voices and straps will start to soften and conform to me and the life I chose to lead.
