The Cardiovascular Mechanism of Disease (MOD) Education program is an unbranded initiative created for cardiologists, endocrinologists and PCPs to (1) learn about the short and long-term cardiovascular risks for patients with Type 2 Diabetes, (2) discover the multiple mechanisms of CV risk, and (3) understand the process of accelerated atherosclerosis.
The creative elements of the MOD program were developed to highlight and address these gaps in knowledge and perception and drive the physician to want to learn more.
In order to clearly underscore the immediacy of the CV/T2D link, the client required the winning concept to visually represent both components.
The core graphic is a heart-shaped rope, literally hanging by a few threads. Those threads create the “I” of “DIABETES”. It is a brilliant execution where headline becomes art and art becomes headline. Together, these elements dramatically illustrate that time is of the essence for these patients.
Created using the latest 3D technology and parallax design, the MOD website brings the urgency and tension to life, the animated heart rotates ever so slowly heightening the tension. It’s a combination of compelling message and imagery that can be put to effective use in print and digital promotion, as well as at congresses.
