My goal was to create a poster that shows support for Ukraine. In my research, I found a video of an older Ukrainian woman who calmly walked up to a Russian soldier, stood in front of him and said, "Take these seeds and place them in your pockets, so at least sunflowers will grow when you all lie down here." The media branded her as the "Ukrainian Babushka." Ironically, babushka is the Russian word for grandmother which I chose to correct on the piece to the Ukrainian word babusya.
