The brief was to create a seasonal product catalogue for Northbridge Plaza – to showcase the unique mix of fashion, homewares and food available in the shopping centre. The goal was to promote individual retailers under the Northbridge Plaza brand and increase centre traffic and sales.
Our approach was to design a catalogue that felt more like a lifestyle magazine – featuring real people, interesting stories and products that inspire. 'Plaza' magazine has become a communication platform to position Northbridge Plaza as a premium, authentic retail destination, meaningfully engage the local community, and provide customers with gifting ideas. We write, art direct, shoot, design and produce each edition.
Plaza has been a huge success and is now created each quarter as a key marketing tool for the shopping centre. Featured products regularly sell out, retailers are eager to be involved, customer foot traffic has increased with each edition, and customers regularly provide positive feedback.
