The german Axel Springer Verlag invites at special occasions actors, directors, artists, influencers and creative people to their Pace to B dinners. The portraits of these personalities are published in a special Berlinale film festival magazine: Place to B: Face to Face.
Approach
Time is short at these occasions. There are many people to be photographed and my aim is to connect to all of them in a personal way.
Results
Shooting THE german upcoming actor Jannis Niewöhner will always be one of my favorite memories. Jannis is a very young actor with the highest potential for a big and long career. It is pure joy to see him in his different roles. Meeting him, having him infront of my camera gave the explanation for his big success at that young age: his great personality with an unpretentious character. He is really great!
