The Three Graces (Euphrosyne, Aglaia, and Thalia) defined beauty in classical mythology and renditions of famous artists from antiquity to today. Rather than examine the graces together, the concept was to investigate them as individuals. Each has their own type of beauty in their duties as a goddess. This series explores Thalia.

For Thalia, goddess of the bloom, the approach was to see her beauty as the bloom is the spring that gives animals their subsistence. It is true that humans have control over planting and harvesting, but, the entire Earth is in bloom at various times of the year. The animals show their appreciation for this goddess.
